We're looking for talented engineers to join our team, who can drive meaningful impact with complex, high-impact problems. As a Staff Backend Engineer at Blinq, you'll be responsible for leading the design and delivery of core systems across our platform.

Job Description

  • Lead the Design and Delivery of Core Systems: You will scale infrastructure that's fast, reliable, and secure, helping us deliver real-time, high-value experiences to millions of users.
  • Design Backend Systems and APIs: With your expertise in Node.js, you will create scalable backend systems and APIs that meet our global growth requirements.
  • Mentor Engineers and Build Technical Alignment: You will guide junior engineers and help build technical alignment across squads.

Requirements

  • Expert-Level Node.js: With 7+ years of experience building backend systems, you have a deep understanding of Node.js and its ecosystem.
  • Deep Experience in API Design and Scalability: You have designed and scaled APIs in cloud environments (GCP preferred).
  • Proven Technical Leadership: With a strong track record of leading cross-functional product teams, you know how to drive results.
  • Strength in System Architecture, Observability, and Performance Tuning: You have a solid grasp of system architecture, observability, and performance tuning.
  • Strong Mentorship Mindset and Collaborative Approach: You are passionate about mentoring engineers and working collaboratively with your team.
