
Payroll System Development Specialist

About the Role
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to develop and implement enhanced payroll system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate award and EBA pay rates within the system;
- Develop user guides to meet relevant standards;
- Ensure maximum efficiency through regular process reviews;
- Monitor internal controls to guarantee accuracy and consistency in all payroll processes;
- Provide support for complex payroll issues.
Requirements:
- Experience working within a large payroll team as a Payroll Analyst, Specialist, Coordinator, Officer or similar;
- Advanced Microsoft skills in Excel and Word are essential;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong time management and attention to detail;
- Demonstrated experience in payroll system development and testing;
- In-depth understanding of ATO rules and procedures;
- Tertiary qualifications preferred, although not mandatory.
