Site Infrastructure Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled Civil Site Engineer to fill this key position. As a Civil Site Engineer, you will be responsible for utilising your thorough understanding of drawings, specifications and quality, WHS, and environmental requirements for all site-related activities.
- Support the implementation of project quality, WHS and environmental management plans on all projects.
- Assist with daily project monitoring for toolbox inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping.
- Assist with the monitoring and updating of the construction program and site activity.
- Ensure materials are procured in advance of the construction program.
- Assist in monitoring daily work activities to maximise the utilisation of plant and resources.
- Implement improvements for managing site-related costs.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or working towards it, and 1-2+ years previous experience as an Engineer in the civil industry, ideally within residential subdivisions/bulk earthworks. A strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards and practices is essential.
The successful candidate will have excellent relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills, as well as a proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to show initiative and take ownership. Strong communication and organisation skills, including strong attention to detail, are also required.
