Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking an experienced and highly motivated project coordinator to provide support and work within the Civil Infrastructure team to carry out the delivery of various projects.

- Remuneration package of $3,638.14 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $4,365.77 gross per fortnight + superannuation.

**Your new role**:
Reporting to the Manager Civil Operations this position is responsible for supporting Council’s civil operations supervisors and project engineers to manage and deliver annual operational and maintenance plans. The role will facilitate the delivery of scheduled civil works across the Local Government Area (LGA) and be the collaborative link between projects, scheduling and administrative tasks to ensure civil projects are conducted in line with Council’s operational plan and budget requirements. This position has a focus on Quarry operations in addition to bridge maintenance activities.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Provide contract support services by preparing contract documentation, participating in the tendering process, and administering contracts.
- Support the planning and delivery of works by preparing works management plans and maintaining project office databases.
- Provide customer support around inquires on current and future works.
- Assist supervisors to respond to customer requests as required.
- Facilitate informed decision making by ensuring accurate collection and collation of project/works information using database management systems and undertaking initial analysis and presenting appropriately formatted reports to management.
- Providing a wide range of project support activities both on and offsite to support the delivery of project time, cost and quality.
- Provide support and backfill for civil operations supervisors for periods of leave as required i.e., supervision and management of staff and operations.
- Work effectively with Asset Management Team to ensure the efficient delivery of work schedules
- Administration of Council’s quarry operational activities
- Provide strategic direction for Council bridge assets.

**As the successful applicant, you will**:

- Have demonstrated experience and knowledge in civil project delivery and contract management.
- Certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations or willing to obtain.
- General Construction Induction Training Card (White).
- Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Level 2 bridge Inspection or willing to obtain.
- In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation, the successful applicant is required to be vaccinated for Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B and will be asked to provide evidence of this._
