This role is focused on providing high-quality asset inspection services for the road network and civil infrastructure. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team responsible for delivering excellent outcomes in asset assessment and maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of sewer and stormwater assets, gathering data on defects, risks, failures, and maintenance needs.">
  • Respond to customer service requests and process them according to established protocols.">
  • Maintain accurate records and transfer asset assessment data to the relevant system in a timely manner.">
  • Assist in developing condition assessment policies and procedures for specific asset groups.">
  • Collaborate with the Wastewater Infrastructure Planning Engineer to develop comprehensive maintenance and rehabilitation programs for all sewer and stormwater assets.">
  • Support the Sewer and Stormwater team in identifying long-term strategic needs of Council's assets.">
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the role.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Pertinent qualifications, such as Certificate III Information Technology or Spatial/Environment.">
  • A valid Class C Driver's Licence.">
  • A General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).">
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Asset Management (desirable).">
  • Relevant experience in civil construction/surveying, geographic information systems, and global positioning systems.">
  • Strong time management, planning, and administrative skills.">
