About the Position:

This role involves underwriting property risks that align with our risk appetite and underwriting philosophy. You will play a key part in supporting our strategic objectives by delivering tailored insurance solutions that drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to deliver customized insurance solutions that meet our business development and portfolio growth goals.
  • Originate, assess, and underwrite corporate property risks to achieve targeted business outcomes.
  • Design timely, customized insurance solutions that deliver value to clients while meeting our profitability targets.
  • Underwrite risks in accordance with our underwriting guidelines, pricing models, and delegated authority limits.
  • Deliver high-quality, timely underwriting service and support to clients and brokers.
  • Foster long-term client relationships to support retention and identify future business opportunities.
  • Stay current on market trends and industry developments to inform underwriting decisions.

About the Team:

About You:

  • Proven experience in underwriting mid-market and corporate property risks.
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian property insurance market and broker landscape.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or certification in underwriting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain profitable client relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
