About the Role

This is a key position in our team responsible for underwriting property risks and developing relationships with clients to deliver tailored insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced risk manager to join our team and contribute to driving profitable growth across property lines.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, assessing, and underwriting corporate property risks, with a focus on targeted business development and portfolio growth.
  • Design timely, customized insurance solutions that deliver value to clients while meeting our profitability goals.
  • Underwrite risks in accordance with our underwriting guidelines, pricing models, and delegated authority limits.
  • Deliver high-quality, timely underwriting service and support to clients and brokers, including accurate and prompt documentation.
  • Foster and strengthen long-term client relationships to support retention and identify future business opportunities.

About the Team

About You

  • Proven experience in underwriting mid-market and corporate property risks.
  • Strong knowledge of the market and broker landscape.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or certification (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain profitable client relationships.
  • Client-focused with strong marketing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels and geographies.
