Lead Fabrication Team Member

Take charge of a hands-on, safety-driven team in our Emerald fabrication workshop. If you're passionate about people, projects, and precision, this is your chance to make a real impact.

As a key member of the team, you'll report directly to the Southern Area Manager and play a crucial role in managing daily operations, meeting project deadlines, and upholding high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the fabrication team in the workshop and onsite
  • Develop quotes and estimates to secure new projects
  • Ensure jobs move forward safely, on time, and within budget
  • Sources materials and equipment to deliver results
  • Build strong relationships with clients, councils, mines & government entities
  • Uphold rigorous standards for quality, safety, and teamwork
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in Fabrication or Mechanical
  • Real-world experience - workshop + site work
  • Strong skills in quoting, estimating, and job costing
  • Effective leadership that motivates and delivers
  • A knack for problem-solving and solid communication
  • Ability to juggle priorities and make smart decisions quickly
