We are seeking a skilled and experienced statutory planner to join our dynamic team.   • Leading complex statutory planning projects to drive sustainable economic growth and improve service delivery.
  • Providing expert advice to internal teams, stakeholders, and the community on statutory planning matters.
  • Representing the council at VCAT and other forums with professionalism and confidence.
  • Mentoring and supporting team members to build capability and improve performance.
  • Collaborating with Economic Development to unlock strategic opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in planning or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in statutory planning within the Victorian planning system.
  • Strong understanding of the social, environmental, and economic context of interface councils.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and consultant teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative and adaptable working style with a focus on outcomes.
  • Confidence in preparing and presenting reports, briefings, and submissions.
