Job Role

The City of Casey is seeking a senior leader to lead its statutory planning team.

The successful applicant will have proven expertise in major project planning, with a strong background in growth area development.

The Team Leader will be responsible for guiding and motivating the planning team, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration. They will provide expert oversight and guidance across Council's development approval processes, oversee statutory planning operations, and manage complex and major planning applications.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Town Planning, Urban Studies, or Urban Geography, with several years of relevant experience. They will also have demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team of staff and consultants to meet priorities and targets.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
