As a Principal Statutory Planner, you will be responsible for leading complex statutory planning projects that drive sustainable economic growth. You will provide expert advice to internal teams, developers, and the community, representing Council at VCAT and other forums with professionalism and confidence.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who possesses excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, a collaborative and adaptable working style, and a focus on outcomes. You will have a strong understanding of the social, environmental, and economic context of interface councils, with a proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and consultant teams.
The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in planning or a related discipline and extensive experience in statutory planning within the Victorian planning system.
