AOD Service Manager

About the Role
The Salvation Army is seeking a values-driven AOD Service Manager to strategically develop and manage client-centred service delivery, operations, and staff in the Brisbane AOD Service.
This role will oversee an 80-bed residential drug and alcohol facility with a 13-bed withdrawal management unit onsite and pre and post-treatment support options located at Red Hill.
The successful candidate will have circa 6 direct reports with a staff team of approximately 30 FTE.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure services are inclusive, accessible, and responsive for our diverse participants
- Deliver state agendas and operational/local plans aligned to national agendas
- Oversight of practice and service delivery
- Establish program-specific systems and processes for service delivery and review regularly
- Manage services in accordance with funding body or contractual requirements and guidelines and service standards
- Develop and manage program budgets and finances
- Manage risk in service delivery and operational aspects of program including building and assets
- Provide line management and supervision of staff
Requirements
- Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development, or related field and extensive management experience
- Project development and implementation experience in social and community services programs including AOD
- The ability to lead and support staff and services undergoing change
- Experience in active membership in community or sector bodies within the AOD sector
