Job Title: Educational Assistant

Do you have a passion for supporting students and enhancing their educational experience? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Educational Assistant to join our team

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Indigenous students. As an Educational Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to develop and implement learning materials that promote cross-cultural awareness and understanding.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff, promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and interactive learning activities that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Provide administrative support to teachers and school staff as needed, ensuring that the school runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff to achieve common goals.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, responding to changing circumstances and priorities in a calm and professional manner.


Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Education or related field (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor's degree).
  • Proven experience working with Indigenous students and communities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
