Key Role in Strategic Communications

The role of a Communications Specialist is pivotal to the success of our organisation. This position involves partnering with operational leaders to develop and implement a strategic communications plan that effectively conveys our message to clients, stakeholders, and the wider community.

This role encompasses content creation for various platforms including social media, annual reports, websites, and other publications. It also involves collaborating with teams to design branding and visual packaging for education and information programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate and curate content for external communications channels to maintain a strong online presence.
  • Develop materials in consultation with operational teams to accurately reflect their services and goals.
  • Enhance internal and external communication systems to ensure alignment with risk management protocols.
  • Design branding and visual identity for education and information programs delivered by our teams.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant legislation to ensure resources and materials are up-to-date and responsive.
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness through events, promotions, and tenders.
Location and Requirements

This position is based in our Toowoomba office, requiring regular travel to Ipswich and occasional visits to remote locations. The successful candidate will be classified at SCHADS Level 5+, dependent on qualifications and experience.
