The Organisation:

Our client is a well-known public practice firm with 11 offices spanning multiple states across Australia. Offering their clients a 'one-stop shop' service hub, their solutions include Accounting, Bookkeeping, Financial Planning, Marketing, Legal Support & more.

The Position:

Based in the Toowoomba office, this role will be tailored to your experience at either the Intermediate or Senior level but will include:

  • Document preparation, data entry, & team correspondence
  • Management of client records in line with privacy and compliance requirements (e.g. ATO guidelines)
  • Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
  • Assisting or leading in the preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and other statutory compliance
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
  • Providing tax planning and general business advice to clientele

Skills and Experience:

  • A degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years experience in public practice
  • Completed, undertaking or planning to undertake CPA/CA
  • Knowledge of Xero, MYOB & Quickbooks preferred
  • A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
