Diagnostic Radiologist

Diagnostic radiologists play a vital role in healthcare, utilizing imaging tests to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. As a diagnostic radiologist with expertise in interventional radiology, you will be responsible for diagnosing patients using X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients using imaging tests such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
  • Perform interventional procedures such as biopsies and drainages
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and after-hours/on-call services

Requirements:

  • Hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Radiology (FRCPC)
  • Be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
  • Have completed an Interventional Radiology fellowship and be willing to learn endovascular treatment for ischemic stroke or have experience in EVT
