Our hospital is seeking a skilled diagnostic imaging specialist to join our team.
The role involves performing and reporting diagnostic ultrasound examinations, as well as providing diagnostic imaging advice and interpreting radiographs.
You will also be responsible for interpreting and reporting CT studies when needed, and occasionally providing staff continuing education and maintaining diagnostic imaging protocols.
The ideal candidate will have a degree and qualifications registerable in Australia, enjoy working collaboratively in a friendly team environment, and be enthusiastic about interacting with specialists in other disciplines.
The structure of this position is flexible and negotiable, being either part or full time, and not typically involving after-hours work.
There is great exposure to a large number and wide range of interesting and complex cases, particularly involving ultrasonography, and the opportunity to interact with specialists in other disciplines.
- Diagnostic ultrasound examinations and associated procedures
- Diagnostic imaging advice and interpretation of radiographs
- CT studies interpretation and reporting
- Staff continuing education and maintenance of diagnostic imaging protocols
