Family Physician Position in a Large Interdisciplinary Team
">- The Luther Court Society is seeking a full or part time Family Physician (FP) to join our large interdisciplinary team. As a FP, your primary role will be to assess and diagnose acute and chronic disease/illness and provide treatment and follow-up.
- You will prescribe and refill medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform minor surgical procedures, provide management of chronic disease and end of life care, and refer to specialists and specialty programs as needed.

- Provide management of chronic disease and end of life care, and refer to specialists and specialty programs as needed.
- Carry out preventative care through call backs, screening and risk assessments, as well as contribute to population health programs by providing education to individuals, families, and communities.
Team Environment
">- We have a director, a medical lead physician, contracted family physicians, contracted nurse practitioners, registered nurses, LPN, contracted dietitian and occupational therapist, mental health clinician, population health and wellness coordinator, and medical office staff.
- We are partnered with the Victoria Primary Care Network and report to Island Health.
