Mental Health Physician

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a qualified Specialist Mental Health Physician to join the Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) program.
This role involves providing comprehensive primary care services to patients, including:
- Assuming Most Responsible Physician role for patients on the unit.
- Meeting weekly with staff and patients.
- Ensuring admission orders for new patients are provided in the unit.
- Consulting with staff and program leadership in quality improvement tasks and meetings.
Applicants must hold or be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and have additional training and/or enhanced skills in psychiatry.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
