About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager to join our team in the Minerals and Resources Division. As a Director of Strategic Resource Development, you will play a key role in shaping the department's policy agenda and contributing to the government's economic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead policy analysis and implementation on diverse topics related to the resources sector
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including industry, foreign governments, and Commonwealth agencies
- Collaborate with Indigenous communities, state and territory agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve policy objectives
- Provide strategic advice to senior executives and contribute to the development of policy initiatives
- Manage staff and teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
