Regional Development Director

The role of the Regional Development Director is a pivotal leadership position, responsible for steering the next phase of growth and expansion for our organization within the Canberra region.
This opportunity offers a unique chance to work on diverse and iconic projects across various sectors, including Transport, Water, Urban Communities, Environmental, and Renewable Energy initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced leader who can provide visible guidance, collaborate with state and national sector leads, execute operational plans, drive business strategy, and develop client relationships across sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide inspiring leadership and support to regional personnel to achieve cohesion, optimal performance, resourcing, retention, and professional development.
- Collaborate with state and national sector leadership to ensure the ACT business forms an integral part of our operations.
- Ensure effective strategic planning, implementation, execution, and monitoring across the region.
- Work with National Managers to achieve sustainable business growth across the region and nationally through targeted client relationship management and business development activities.
- Take accountability for project governance and other client service imperatives within the regional office.
Suitable applicants will have:
- Extensive experience in consulting or advisory businesses.
- Strong strategic and commercial skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills in a professional environment.
- Client focus to produce quality outcomes within an environment with competing demands and tight deadlines.
- Vision, drive, and focus to oversee the delivery of winning proposals.
- Clear and persuasive writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.
- Excellent time management skills to work effectively and efficiently towards deadlines.
- A high level of industry knowledge.
