Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Professional to join our team at Seaton Place Residential Aged Care Facility Cleveland. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting repairs, and ensuring the upkeep of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the overall appearance and condition of the facility's grounds and buildings
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as needed
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures
  • Monitor stock levels of consumables and reorder supplies when necessary
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complaints from residents and staff

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualifications or significant work experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Certification in areas such as first aid, CPR, and hazardous materials handling (if applicable)
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to obtain NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card and Covid-19 vaccinations
