About the Role

As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs for our Residential Aged Care Home. Your ability to foster strong relationships with residents, contractors, and suppliers will be crucial in delivering an exceptional experience for our community.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a culture of quality maintenance and repair, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and monitor stock levels of consumables.
Your Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV qualification or significant relevant experience in maintenance and grounds duties.
  • A current valid driver's licence and evidence of Australian work rights.
  • NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain) and 2024 Flu Vaccination (or willing to obtain).
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations and a willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.
