**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Capalaba Residential Aged Care Facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the condition and appearance of our homes are of the highest standard, providing a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Hands-on repairs and maintenance of our facilities
* Management and coordination of maintenance activities
* High level of customer service to residents
* Maintenance of records and reports
* Budget management
* Provide leadership, supervision, and coordination of site maintenance staff
* Comply with current legislative standards around maintenance, aged care workplace health & safety, and manual handling

**Requirements**

* Knowledge of maintenance procedures and commercial and domestic construction practice
* Experience in contractor management
* Knowledge of relevant legislation requirements, codes, and standards
* Understanding and empathy towards aged persons and their living requirements
* Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience
* Valid working rights and open manual driver's license (Class C)
* Current national police check (or willing to obtain)
* 2024 Flu Vaccination (or willing to obtain)
* Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations
* A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role
* Current First Aid Certificate or ability to attain
