About the OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Thornlands QLD location. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs for our Retirement Villages.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, plastering, equipment repairs, and installing doors, cupboards, and shelves.
- Monitor stock levels of consumables and re-order as required.
- Respond to maintenance issues, including requests and complaints, in a timely and professional manner.
- Experience in maintenance and grounds duties, preferably in an aged care environment.
- Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience.
- Current valid drivers' licence.
- Evidence of Australian work rights.
- Current national police check (or willingness to obtain).
- 2024 Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain).
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations.
