Job Title: Senior Analytics Leader

Join Xero as a Senior Analytics Leader and drive effective strategy and execution globally. As a key leader in the business, you will lead strategic recommendations based on world-class analytics and storytelling, delivering analysis and understanding of commercial and operational performance to help Xero set and communicate its strategy, plan effectively, and execute efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify strategic opportunities through data analysis and drive recommendations to improve Xero's operating system and commercial performance.
  • Lead a high-impact analytics team and work closely with senior stakeholders across the Business Operations and Strategy function to drive strategic decision-making grounded in analytics.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics techniques and statistical methodologies to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business objectives and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Build deep knowledge across multiple data domains and drive innovation with data and analytics to create value.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in analytics, with a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and driving business outcomes.
  • Proven leadership ability, with experience in coaching team members and developing their technical and storytelling capabilities.
  • Expertise in advanced analytics techniques, statistical methodologies, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms, such as Snowflake and DBT.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to communicate complex analytics insights to non-technical stakeholders.
