Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to join our team as an Operational Services Officer. This role involves supporting clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care by performing various tasks such as porterage, cleaning, food services, linen services, and waste management.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing excellent customer service. If you have strong communication skills and are able to work effectively with minimal supervision, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Perform porterage duties, including transporting patients and equipment
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment within the hospital
  • Assist with food services, linen services, and waste management
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
What We Offer:
  • An hourly rate between $39.05 - $41.66 p.h. (including 25% casual loading)
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements:

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases.
