Support Specialist Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

About the Role

  • Provide personalized support to clients, empowering them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance client outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of high school or equivalent education.
  • Certificate 2 or 4 in Individual Support or willingness to complete within a specified timeframe.
  • Lived experience or paid experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
