About the Role

As a Project Cost Controller, you will play a key role in shaping the financial health of our projects, providing a semi-independent view of cost performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  2. Cost Control: Set up jobs in Dynamics 365, manage monthly cost control activities, and prepare cost control reports to support internal and client decision-making.
  3. Documentation and Reporting: Compile project documentation, assist with invoicing and payment claims, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement cost control enhancements to optimize project outcomes.
Requirements

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in project controls and/or cost accounting. Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365), Microsoft Office, and accounting software is essential. A background in engineering and construction, along with understanding of project management principles including earned value, CPI, and SPI, is also required. Tertiary qualification in accounting is preferred.
