Fleet Controller Job Description

About the Role:

As Fleet Controller, you will be at the heart of our transport operations, ensuring seamless coordination of fleet movements and schedules. You will work closely with drivers, customers, and the logistics team to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate fleet scheduling and bookings to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and enhance engagement.
  • Optimize fleet utilization to balance on-time performance and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare daily manifests and support the line-haul team as needed.
  • Collaborate with third-party providers to manage deliveries.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, drivers, and warehouse staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to operational reporting.
