About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team at Healthscope. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the smooth running of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including verifying invoices and preparing payments.
- Manage staff expense claims and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries related to supplier and debtor accounts.
- Assist in the reconciliation of cash accounts and provide accurate financial reports.
- Support other business services as required, including patient accounts.
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large amounts of data.
- Intermediate computer skills in MS suite, with the ability to learn new software and systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
