Technical System Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in delivering strategic improvement projects, developing and maintaining expert knowledge across student systems and supporting infrastructure.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and experience leading a team.
  • They will be responsible for conducting requirements analysis, determining configuration changes, managing testing and implementation of major system upgrades, and enabling front-line student systems support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of data elements, student systems, supporting platforms, and business processes.
  • System Changes: Consult on and implement system changes in response to complex scenarios, including analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentoring for other members of the Systems Support team.
  • Leadership: Contribute to the leadership of the Systems Support team.

Requirements:

  • Tech Savvy: Strong fluency in technology platforms and a deep understanding of contemporary IT protocols and operating environments.
