Cheese Production Leader

Seeking a seasoned leader to drive efficiency and quality in cheese production operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in a similar industry. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety (WHS) and HACCP is also essential.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and optimizing production strategies to meet market demands
- Ensuring production output meets quality and quantity standards while balancing costs, labour, and time constraints
- Managing production schedules, coordinating operational hours, and allocating resources efficiently
- Monitoring production output and associated costs to ensure operational efficiency and profitability
- Collaborating with other departments to maintain clear communication on production matters
- Conducting regular inspections of machinery and maintaining equipment to ensure uninterrupted production
- Leading research into new production methods and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency
- Maintaining accurate production records and reports for performance tracking and regulatory compliance
- Overseeing the implementation of occupational health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Required qualifications include:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar industry
- Understanding of food manufacturing or dairy industry, preferably cheese production processes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
