The Role

Our Wetherill Park site in Sydney is our Milk Based Beverages (MMB) hub for the eastern seaboard. The site manufactures both Fresh and Extended Shelf-Life products, including our short pack format MBB and Ultra Heat Treated (UHT) long-life unrefrigerated milk. This state-of-the-art facility has benefited from past and ongoing large-scale investment and produces 75 million litres of some of Australia's most loved dairy products including Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Big M.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader, this role ensures that all Production and packaging functions are carried out effectively, efficiently, and timely and that products are delivered safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with mínimal waste in the correct quantity when required.

The incumbent must be flexible, working a 12.33-hour night shift on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6 p.m. to 6.20 am, three days on and four days off.

**Responsibilities**:
- Working in positions throughout the production department involving all aspects of manufacturing operations-
- Adherence to our quality, safety and environmental systems and practices-
- Documentation as required by our HACCP system-
- Assisting the maintenance team in troubleshooting equipment as required-
- Participation in continuous improvement activitiesAbout you- Comfortable using technology for production, safety, quality, and reporting-
- Exceptional team player and communicator who builds strong and constructive relationships-
- A passion for delivering the site KPIs and implementing continuous improvement-
- A strong Goods Manufacturing Practice and hygiene focus-
- Intermediate mechanical aptitude-
