
Teacher for Students with Autism Spectrum

At our school, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to work with students on the autism spectrum. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating students with diverse needs and abilities.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a teacher who can work collaboratively with allied health professionals and families to develop Individual Education Plans that cater to each student's unique needs. The successful applicant will have the skills and knowledge to assess individual abilities, identify learning barriers, and plan effective programs within a developmental framework.
The teacher will also be responsible for implementing these programs, monitoring student progress, and making adjustments as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the teacher will need to work closely with families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
Required Skills and Qualifications- NESA registration to teach in NSW
- Comprehensive proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and teaching
- Understanding of PBS framework principles and skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and experience with ASD strategies
