Product Manager - CommSec

Spearhead Strategic Initiatives

CommSec is Australia's premier online broker, and we're looking for a skilled Product Manager to drive the end-to-end design and management of our product portfolio.

The Product & Investing Solutions Crew is the driving force behind our product offerings, including Equities, Margin Lending, Cash, and Derivatives. As a Product Manager, you'll partner with the Product Owner to lead strategic initiatives, deliver on our roadmap, and address issues and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Transform Strategy into Reality: Collaborate with the Product Owner to bring the product strategy to life, planning and managing initiatives across the squad to deliver customer and business outcomes.
  2. Customer Remediation: Implement and lead remediation programs and projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery for our customers.
  3. Ensure product compliance with regulatory obligations and Group Policies and Standards, while delivering customer-focused solutions.
  4. Lead and deliver on product initiatives, understanding customer needs and pain points to drive change and deliver business outcomes.
  5. Manage and monitor change to improve the product offering and processes, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  6. Stay informed about industry and regulatory trends to inform the product roadmap and ensure compliance.
  7. Build strong relationships across the value chain to ensure efficient delivery of the product roadmap and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in banking or related financial services with a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to think analytically and use data to develop insights and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strategic thinking with experience in leading and delivering initiatives.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working flexibly through change.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with others.
  • RG146 accreditation or understanding of trading and investing products is highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualification in a Business/Commerce/Finance degree is preferred.
