EO Security Policy Manager

The EO Security Policy Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the effective management of security policies related to guided weapons and explosive ordnance. This position requires a strong understanding of security regulations and the ability to develop and implement policies that mitigate risks associated with these sensitive materials.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement security policies and procedures for the handling, storage, and transportation of guided weapons and explosive ordnance.
- Conduct regular security audits and collaborate with Defence and Whole of Government stakeholders to ensure compliance with security regulations.
- Lead training programs on security compliance and develop preventative measures based on findings from security incidents.
- Establish and monitor an Annual Assurance Program to assure the effectiveness of existing policies and identify areas for improvement.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in policy development and implementation, as well as experience in security and compliance. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop good relationships and support networks across a wide array of stakeholders.
Knowledge and experience in guided weapon and explosive ordnance systems is essential, as is the ability to develop comprehensive munitions security policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will also have a sound knowledge of training programs for personnel on security practices and policy adherence.
