About Our Team

The Explosive Ordnance Branch (EOB) leads the management of Defence's explosive ordnance (EO) and provides assurance that EO is being managed efficiently and effectively. This includes the delivery of EO services to the Australian Defence Force (ADF), including storage, distribution, and governance.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this position is a strategic thinker with extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly within a Defence environment. This individual should possess a deep understanding of munitions handling, storage, and distribution, and be adept at optimising these processes to support operational readiness and strategic objectives.

Strong analytical skills are essential, as the Joint Munitions Network Planner will need to conduct detailed risk assessments and understand inventory requirements and forecast future munitions needs accurately. They should be proficient in using advanced planning tools and software to analyse data and improve logistics operations.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are crucial, as the Joint Munitions Network Planner will coordinate with multiple Branches and external stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to munitions logistics.
