As a key player in our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to help all Australians own their own home. This permanent full-time position is based in our Brisbane CBD Branch and involves providing exceptional support and service to customers and their retail banking and lending needs.

To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about learning new things such as products, services, and ways of working, and have the drive to go above and beyond with each customer conversation. You should also enjoy meeting new people, building connections in your local community, helping solve problems for customers, achieving results that help customers achieve their financial and lifestyle goals, and protecting customers through adherence to policies and regulations.

This role offers the opportunity to build an ever-growing business network and actively promote our products and services to deliver on our purpose and increase our target market share. As a member of our team, you will work closely with your colleagues to serve our existing customers, develop new referral networks, and manage and own your home loans through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership - Networking and Lead Generation
  • Sales Performance - Meeting service standards and performance targets
  • Process and Operations - Maintaining a strong knowledge of our lending and ancillary products and adopting sales strategies aligned with our divisional business plan

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience mortgage lending/credit assessment
  • Demonstrated experience in working with all banking products
  • Proven ability to network with key stakeholders and pursue leads and obtain business through network activities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer and sales focus
  • Ability to problem solve complex financial problems
  • Strong ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong connections with your team
  • Demonstrated exceptional stakeholder management
