We are seeking a highly skilled Home Lending Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a passion for business development, customer service, and lending.

As a Home Lending Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting customers through one of the most significant financial decisions they will make.

You will work closely with our team to provide expert advice and guidance to customers, helping them achieve their home buying dreams.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of home lending products and the current responsible lending legislation.

You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

In addition to your technical knowledge and skills, we are looking for individuals who are driven, motivated, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing support and advice to customers to help them achieve their home buying goals
  • Developing business by building and maintaining internal and external referral sources, and seeking external referrals from existing customers
  • Attending regular coaching sessions to develop your lending knowledge and skills, and coaching your branch colleagues on best practice

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar home lending role from within a bank or mortgage broker environment
  • Demonstrated business development success
  • A well-developed knowledge of home lending products and the current responsible lending legislation
