Overview:

This role offers a unique chance to lead a high-performing team and drive business growth and development opportunities for our Eastern States unit.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans to drive business growth and development opportunities for the region.
  • Provide leadership and support in pursuit planning.
  • Lead and support development of a cross-functional team of professionals and ensure collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and environmental standards.
  • Identify client needs and offer innovative solutions to address client challenges.

About You:

We are seeking an experienced leader with a solid track record in major project delivery across the asset lifecycle to guide a well-established and successful team.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in overseeing large-scale, multi-disciplinary, and complex mining projects, typically valued over $1 billion, within an EPCM framework.

Success in this role will hinge on your commercial acumen, strong stakeholder relationships, and technical expertise in the mining sector.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Construction Management or Commerce.
  • Extensive experience working in the resources sector, with commodities such as coal, gold, bauxite/alumina, rare earths, and mineral sands.
  • Proactive mindset and strong financial and commercial experience to lead and expand the East Coast Mining Capital Project offering.
  • Proven experience as a people leader successfully guiding and coaching teams.
  • Proactive approach to addressing challenges and managing risks.
