Job Summary:

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Pinkenba, QLD.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing new business opportunities across mining and irrigation sectors. This role requires strong relationships with existing customers to maintain and expand market share.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in technical sales or business development, with a strong understanding of the mining or irrigation sector. Knowledge of poly pipe products is advantageous but not essential.

Key responsibilities include preparing and presenting compelling proposals and presentations, converting quotes into orders through strategic and solutions-based selling, providing after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction, and maintaining accurate records in CRM.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 3 years' experience in technical sales or business development

Strong understanding of the mining or irrigation sector

Knowledge of poly pipe products (advantageous, not essential)

Willingness to travel extensively for customer engagement

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Strong attention to detail and time management

Self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude and problem-solving mindset
