Defence Marketing Strategist

As a Defence Marketing Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in leading our execution of global marketing programs and supporting the go-to-market strategy for advanced positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) systems within the defence sector.

You will be responsible for understanding the defence buying environment to translate insights into strategic marketing programs that deliver tangible results. Your key objectives include executing go-to-market planning and new product introductions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, developing messaging, content, and communications strategies for global defence markets, and owning the go-to-market strategy for the defence customer segment across air, land, sea, and space domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive sales growth and brand awareness within the defence sector.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling marketing campaigns and materials that resonate with defence customers.

Qualifications:

  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and storytelling skills, with a commercial and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated success in leading go-to-market planning and new product introductions for complex technology systems.
  • A minimum of 8 years in B2B product marketing or capture marketing across a defence, aerospace, or dual-use technology environment.
  • Full Australian Working Rights and eligibility for Australian security clearance is highly regarded.
  • Tertiary Qualifications or an equivalent in Marketing, with additional education in communications, or business strategy being valuable.
