Are you a security professional looking to take on a leadership role?

This exciting opportunity involves coordinating security shift activities, including task allocation and roster preparation.

The successful candidate will perform and supervise security duties within the Parliamentary precinct, including monitoring systems and regular patrol duties.

In addition to their day-to-day responsibilities, this role involves assisting Members, staff, visitors, and the public at all access and reception points.

Liaising with management on security policies and participating in policy development is also an important aspect of this role.

Assisting State and Civil Authorities with Parliamentary security as required is another key responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a security setting.

Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Able to remain calm under pressure and strong leadership and team motivation skills are also highly valued.

Strong organisational and time management skills are required to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
