Transportation Bridge Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Bridge Design Expert to join our team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating overall design activities, project submission schedules, and ensuring the final products meet technical requirements and client goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review design computations, plan designs, and drawings.
  • Review submittals and coordinate project submissions.
  • Prepare and review specifications, draft letters, and written technical reports.
  • Complete inspections and field work assignments as needed.
  • Research, review, interpret, and understand written regulations, code compliance, and permit requirements, and apply them to design projects.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of work and project records.
  • Possess knowledge of Codes and Standards applicable to project designs.
  • Develop technically accurate, clean, and deliverable drawings.
  • Promote, utilize, and support quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors and omissions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant Engineering field from ABET-accredited school, or related field of study.
  • Minimum of (5) years job-related experience. Transportation-related bridge design experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) required.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of the design and development process of transportation bridge projects and knowledge of AASHTO and Design Manuals, Standards, Specifications, Engineering Software, and Microstation.
