Project Overview

A variety of new transportation and infrastructure projects require experienced candidates with prior transportation, infrastructure, and/or complex public project experience to provide project management consultancy services.

Job Summary

The Prime Contracts Manager role involves implementing the Prime Contract Management Program, monitoring compliance with project/prime contract completion requirements, and facilitating strategies for effective management of project commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a contract management program consistent with the prime contract and Project Management Plan.
  2. Assess general terms and conditions to identify areas of risk, such as ambiguities, conflicts, or deviations from the scope of work.
  3. Coordinate with project team members to identify commercial/contractual items that may arise during project execution and need to be addressed.
  4. Recommend approaches and implement actions to document events, respond to situations, and request variations on the project.
  5. Participate in project-related meetings, prepare necessary materials, track actions, and manage working relationships with relevant departments to facilitate contract administration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial/business management functions with work experience of a progressively responsible nature.
  • Demonstratable experience of managing customer/prime contracts with similar commercial terms and incentivization models.
