About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Underground Planning Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Underground Mining Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering mine plans safely and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing accurate and detailed mine instructions by translating conceptual designs into execution-ready plans;Ensuring issued instructions are clear, accurate, and easily understood by Operations;Collaborating closely with the geology team to align designs with geological data;Evaluating potential remnant areas for future development;Assisting in managing underground contractors for project-related work as needed;Working alongside survey and operations teams to prioritize and execute development activities;Contributing to various Mine Planning functions, including budgets, forecasts, life-of-mine plans, reserves, ventilation, and capital projects;Participating in safety and daily compliance meetings.Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering;Competent using Deswik CAD and IS;Underground completed experience.Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as relocation assistance and a comprehensive salary package.
