We are seeking an experienced Senior Underground Mining Engineer to join our team in Perth, Australia. This is a permanent opportunity for a professional with expertise in mine planning, operations, and leadership.
About the Role- Develop short-term and long-term mine plans for underground operations;
- Collaborate with mining personnel to ensure efficient and safe execution of mine plans;
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports against budget targets;
- Oversee the day-to-day production output of the Mining team;
- Mentor and develop junior Mining Engineers.
- Tertiary qualification in mining engineering or related field;
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- Excellent understanding of relevant legislation and regulations;
- Proficiency in using Deswik software;
- First Class Mine Managers Certificate or equivalent experience.
At least 7 years of experience as a Senior Underground Mining Engineer on gold or base metal projects;
LocationThis role is based in Perth, Western Australia, and requires regular FIFO travel;
RemunerationThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, estimated at AU$180,000 - AU$220,000 per annum, depending on experience;
