Forensic Psychologist Role

Deliver evidence-based forensic interventions and develop treatment plans to reduce reoffending and make the community safer.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments, clinical interviews, and treatment interventions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, including risk assessment reports.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including clinical scholarship, research programs, and study leave opportunities.
Requirements:
- Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- A current driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with offenders, particularly those with histories of violent and sexual offending.
- Knowledge of the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model and its application in forensic settings.
