This role offers an opportunity to work as a specialist analyst within a team responsible for delivering electronic surveillance products in support of AFP operations.

As an Electronic Surveillance Analyst, you will be part of a data insights team that continually develops analytical capabilities related to collections from Covert Technical Operations (CTO).

">

The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and applied tradecraft in relevant domains, with the ability to deliver problem-focused solutions in response to operational priorities.

">

Key responsibilities include maintaining advanced currency in the application of analytical methodologies, demonstrating extensive technical knowledge and professional decision-making skills, and developing and demonstrating an understanding of the Electronic Surveillance Analysis section's scope within CTO.

Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to data analysis, tradecraft, systems, and process development to build capabilities that derive valuable insights and inform key decision-makers in support of operational requirements.

Key Requirements

">
  • You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.">
  • A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.">
  • To have completed the Electronic Surveillance Analyst Foundations course or the ability to attain within 6 months of commencement.">
  • Ability to successfully complete an annual psychological screening specific to this position.">
  • Professional and effective stakeholder engagement and communications skills with the ability to manage relationships with diverse and stakeholder groups.">
